Rachel Livedalen’s creative practice explores representations of femininity through the lens of art history, visual culture, and commodification. She earned her BA from the University of Virginia and her MFA in Printmaking from the University of Iowa. Rachel is currently an Associate Professor at Texas Christian University and heads the printmaking area. Her work has been supported by residencies at the Kala Art Institute and A&H Museums-Maitland as well as by the artist program at Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. She exhibits her interdisciplinary work widely and is based in Fort Worth, TX.
