A Modern Impressionist "I love painting atmosphere, and I love using color to convey emotion. I try to paint soul and light into every one of my paintings, to connect with the viewer in a positive way." - Rebecca Pashia Becky Pashia was born and raised in Kansas City, but recently moved to Bayfield, Colorado. Her "atmospheric" technique, using large knives and brushes, has been popular with both residential and commercial collectors for the past thirty years. The timeless style of her landscapes and abstracts appeals to people of all ages. She enjoys creating custom pieces for clients, and has an Interior Design degree from Kansas State University. She strives to "suggest" a subject while allowing the viewer to finish the piece's story. Becky Pashia currently lives and works in Bayfield, Colorado. She paints expressive abstracts and landscapes designed to "suggest" a place or moment - in hopes to evoke emotion and trigger memories. Her art is considered transitional, meaning it enhances homes and businesses from modern to traditional.
