Richard Orlinski has gained recognition around the world for his monochrome diamond-cut sculptures of cultural icons and wildlife. Orlinski employs industrial materials like resin and aluminum to create highly pigmented and polished renditions of bears, panthers, and his trademark subject, King Kong. Orlinski draws inspiration from Pop artists Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami, and Robert Indiana.Based on his overall creative concept "Born Wild," Orlinski's sculptures explore the dichotomy of animal and human within each of us, as well as humanity's ability to harness its most animalistic tendencies into something polished.Orlinski has exhibited his sculptures in a number of galleries and locations, such as the Palace of Versailles, Art Basel, FIAC, and Art Élysées. Orlinski has been acknowledged as one of the world's best-selling contemporary French artists since 2015.
