Robert C. Jackson is a Kennett Square PA based artist. Having only taken one painting class in college, he began his career as an Electrical Engineer (BSEE’86 University of Delaware) with Motorola Communications & Electronics. In 1996 he decided to make his hobby as a painter his career and has been painting full time ever since. Starting with oils and still life, he has never looked back.Robert's artwork can now be found exhibiting in galleries and museums coast to coast. Collections include Delaware Art Museum, Brandywine River Museum of Art, Evansville Museum of Art, History, and Sciences, South Dakota Art Museum, New Britain Museum of American Arts, The Mattatuck Museum, Seven Bridges Foundation, as well as individuals and corporations worldwide. The monograph, “Robert C Jackson: Paintings,” by Philip Eliasoph PhD was published in 2012. Robert was the author of the 2014 publication “Behind the Easel,” which explores the unique voices of 20 contemporary representational painters and became the basis for the exhibit “Truth & Vision” at the Delaware Art Museum in 2016. In 2025 a second monograph of his work was released titled “Robert C Jackson: It’s A Colorful Life.” In this new monograph, Robert decided to write the text himself, removing the middle man to speak directly to his collectors and enthusiasts.
