Rosemary Cotnoir is a Connecticut-based artist whose practice moves between abstraction and landscape, drawing on the inherent rhythms and structures of the natural world. She studied fine art and design at the New York Phoenix School of Design and the New York School of Interior Design. She continued her formal training in painting, watercolor, and life drawing at the Silvermine Artists Guild. Cotnoir further developed her sculptural sensibilities through stone carving studies with Darrell Petit and Andy Davis, and deepened her painting practice in a summer program at Yale University. Cotnoir’s work has been featured in publications such as the Los Angeles Sunday Times Magazine and Southern California Home & Garden. It is included in private and corporate collections nationwide, including the Walker Art Collection and Aspen Re-Finance Group International.
