ABOUT SCOTT EICHLER Scott is a career creative professional, and artist now based in Atlanta, having journeyed through cities like Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Dallas. Initially drawn to art as a young student, he later pursued a career in fashion and product development, eventually transitioning into roles as creative director for product design and branding for major US media companies, including MTV and Discovery Channel. His work weaves together the influences of fashion, textiles, product, and graphic design, blended with the inspiration he first felt standing before the original New School Artists of New York. Scott’s art explores bold patterns, vibrant colors, and unique textures, while layering light-shifting finishes that add nuance and depth. His use of texture and sheen, alongside traditional techniques of color and line, builds compositions that feel both structured and organic. Scott’s conceptual process pays homage to the Abstract Expressionists and Pop Art movements, who revolutionized how art was created and experienced. Each new collection begins with an imagined collaboration between himself and artistic legends like Ad Reinhardt, Frank Stella, Yayoi Kusama for an abstract work, or with the likes Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, Richard Hamilton and the iconic individual subject like Frank Sinatra or Kurt Cobain. From geometric abstractions to figurative pop art, Scott embraces process as central to his creative journey. He seeks to create “winks”, unexpected moments of discovery, every time a viewer revisits his work.
