"My name is Michael Scott McCain, I developed a love for drawing and creating at a young age. My late father was an amazing artist with an eye for detail. Growing up in a family of custom home builders I to enjoyed building anything with my hands. As a young boy my passions were building things from wood and motorcycles. I spend hours building pieces with any scrap material that I could find. I remember several memories of getting into trouble in grade school for drawing motorcycles during class. Later in school I found that I excelled in my art classes. I felt as though I had found my place. As a young man I entered into the family business in custom home construction. I would and still to this day sit in the evenings and draw house plans as a stress reliever. At the age of thirty I ventured into the custom swimming pool business. We owned and operated two swimming pool retail stores in the Birmingham Al. area for over 23years. I have always been passionate about our beach community here in Santa Rosa Beach. We have owned several investment properties along the way here at SRB. In 2023 we sold our company, packed up and moved permanently here. Shortly thereafter my wife (Julianne) and I received our Realtor License and started our Design Company. Living here with my wife and three children (Madison,Braden and Lindsey) in the place that we always dreamed of I found that I was intrigued to create again. My pieces are simply from my imagination with the understanding of the process and the materials to bring them to life. I hope that you enjoy them."
