Stacy Kelley is a Pennsylvania-based oil painter whose work captures the quiet beauty of rural landscapes and agrarian life. A graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (BFA, 2000), she studied under accomplished artists including Anna Kuo, Peter Traugott, George Sorrels, and Evan Summers, developing a strong foundation in painting and figurative drawing that continues to shape her practice today. Her paintings are celebrated for their atmosphere and sensitivity to place, earning her multiple awards at juried plein air competitions. Recent honors include Best Agrarian Scene at the 2022 Susquehanna Summer Solstice Plein Air Competition, Best Depiction of the Wellsboro Wilds at the 2024 Wellsboro Wilds Festival; recognition in the top 15% of the BoldBrush International Art Contest (June 2025), as well as 2025 Juried Selected to the Almenara Art Prize International Online Exhibition. Kelley is a member of the American Impressionist Society, a Juried Professional Artisan of the Wilds Cooperative of PA, and a Rostered Teaching Artist with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts’ Arts in Education program. She continues to exhibit widely, with collectors drawn to her ability to balance impressionistic light and painterly detail with a deep reverence for the Pennsylvania countryside.
