Stamp Jewelry Designs is the creative collaboration of stepmother and stepdaughter duo, Susan and Jennifer Stamp—best friends and artists united by their love of design. Susan, a native Oregonian born and raised in Portland, studied at Bassist Fashion Institute, earning a degree in Buying and Merchandising. Her career includes roles as an assistant jewelry buyer for Nordstrom and General Manager, jewelry buyer, and display artist for Folkways, where her original jewelry line has been among the top sellers for more than 25 years. Susan designs and handcrafts all of the necklaces in the collection. Jennifer, born in Washington and raised in Bend, Oregon, previously designed jewelry for Jody Coyote before joining Folkways as both a sales associate and jewelry designer. She creates the earrings and bracelets that complete their signature line.Together, Susan and Jennifer bring artistry and joy to every piece they make. “We love to collect special beads in interesting shapes,” they say. “Our excitement at a Gem Show is like kids in a candy store! Combining beautiful materials—black onyx, garnets, amethyst, Swarovski crystals, natural stones, and sterling silver—is like painting on a canvas, but with beads and pendants.”
