Steve Tracy is an internationally-acclaimed, Emmy-award winning artist. Steve’s artwork is collected all over the globe. He is most recognized for his Extreme Skiers, Canadian Landscapes, and his ability to paint in a variety of styles. Steve Tracy was born in Santa Clara, California, in 1953, and grew up in Colorado and California. At the age of 10, he began painting with a set of hand-me-down oil paints. Steve received his education at the School of Visual Arts in New York in 1972. Steve lived in New York City in the early 70’s and lived next door to John and Yoko Ono, and rubbed shoulders with Andy Warhol in SoHo. His later works were discovered by an acknowledged Art Collector from NYC while in San Francisco in the 90’s. Steve Tracy has gained significant interest and international recognition for his unique art, with articles about his work appearing in numerous publications, including the New York Times and Arabella, a top Canadian art magazine. Steve Tracy has won numerous awards including an Emmy award for his artwork on the HBO program By Dawn’s Early Light in 1991.
