thomadroA true renaissance man, thomadro has been bringing joy and beauty into the world since his early youth in Cincinnati,Ohio.The Tryptych above was drawn by thom @ 18 months of age (Elephant/Bull/Moth/Cowboy)His parents encouraged the natural sense of color, composition, theming and humor that was apparent in a color drawing thom created before his second birthday. One of his first “works” (above) still hangs in his Las Vegas Studio to remind him daily of his destiny. thom developed many of his artistic gifts throughout his youth including sculpting, printmaking, jewelry design, photography and musicianship. But painting emerged as his overriding passion and he achieved a B. F. A. in Fine Art, Painting and Printmaking, from San Diego State University in 1974. That year he had his first one man show.Since that successful first exhibit, thoms work has been displayed all over the world. He has been featured in countless shows and has been commissioned by many major Corporations and Private Collectors. He was the Featured Artist at the Winter Olympic Games in 2002 and Designed The Bud World Party at Gallivan Plaza in Salt Lake City. His patron list reads like a Who's Who.
