How I did choose to be a ceramic artist? I have always been drawn to construct things from natural materials, but could never find material that was malleable and could last a long time. I discovered clay’s versatile medium and when fired could out last our lifetime with care. I am still exploring the medium the depth that clay can be produced is so varied that it is almost impossible to reach every facet. My work is currently based off the look of and flow of the fire and patterns nature's ever changing flow.
