Tony Mhanna is a Lebanese fine art photographer and painter whose work bridges the worlds of art, engineering, and human emotion. Trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Mhanna combines his technical precision with a refined artistic sensibility. His deep appreciation for art history—further enriched through academic study—fuels his creative exploration across photography, painting, and design. Since 2014, Mhanna has been developing a distinctive visual language that captures the poetry of everyday life and the complexity of contemporary society. Through his lens, ordinary scenes are transformed into compositions that evoke harmony, energy, and introspection. His recurring themes—evolution, rebirth, and transformation—reflect an ongoing fascination with the dynamics of change and the relationship between space, light, and atmosphere. Mhanna’s first major project, “WRAITH” (2019), debuted during Beirut Art Week and went on to win the Beirut Art Fair 2020 competition. His works have since been featured in exhibitions across Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.In 2023, Mhanna presented his first solo exhibition, inaugurating his practice as an installation artist by uniting art and engineering in a single immersive experience. The following year, he received the Best First Solo Exhibitor of the Year (2024) award in Lebanon, affirming his place among the most promising emerging artists in the region. Tony Mhanna currently lives and works in Beirut, Lebanon, continuing to expand his multidisciplinary practice and explore the transformative power of art.
