Vee enjoys creating mixed media work that suggests both dream-like imagery and an homage to religious altarpieces of the past. Using collage techniques with various wet and dry pigments, he uses paper and wood to make surreal landscapes framed by the same material they have been applied to. Vee draws upon art history, cinema, and his imagination to present a world open to the viewer’s personal interpretation. We hope you enjoy viewing his collection! Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Vee attended Georgia State University and received bachelor's and master's degrees in art. During his career, he taught at Georgia State, Young Harris College, and La Grange College, where he was a professor of drawing and painting until his retirement in 1999.
