Virginia Morse created vibrant, expressionist portraits. She was married to fellow CAA Artist Member John Boit Morse, son of “The Duke of Del Monte,” Samuel Finley Brown Morse, who was also a CAA Artist Member, as well as the developer of Pebble Beach. Virginia was a strong supporter of Monterey Peninsula Art Forum, an organization founded by CAA Artist Member Dick Crispo in the 1970s. When Virginia passed away in 1978, she left the MPAF a generous financial gift.
