Yoko Kubrick is a contemporary sculptor whose abstract works explore the emotional language of form through mythology, nature, and archetypal imagery. Her practice distills classical and spiritual themes into timeless forms—biomorphic and serene—crafted in marble, bronze, and stainless steel. Raised between cultures and continents, Kubrick draws inspiration from both Eastern and Western sculptural traditions, merging sensual curves with formal restraint. Recent exhibitions include Ovid’s Metamorphosis, a solo presentation at the historic Filoli estate, which reinterpreted mythological feminine archetypes through contemporary abstraction. Kubrick’s sculptures are held in private collections internationally and have been exhibited in both historic and contemporary venues. She is currently expanding her practice toward private and public commissions, including site-specific works that respond to landscape, architecture, and sacred space.
