Belarusian- Canadian artist Yury Darashkevich (b. 1962) graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of the Arts in 1985. Initially establishing himself in the fields of illustration and graphic design, he continued to explore painting in his personal time. Following a series of successful solo exhibitions in the early 1990s, Darashkevich shifted his focus entirely to fine art, ultimately relocating to Toronto, Canada, to pursue his creative practice full-time. In 2009, he was honored with election to the Society of Canadian Artists, in 2010, he expanded his artistic reach by opening a second studio in Palm Beach, Florida. His work is now showcased in North America and Europe, reflecting his international recognition in the art world.
